KBHA

Kansas Buckskin Horse Association (KBHA)  is a charter club with the American Buckskin Registry Association (ABRA). KBHA shall promote interest in the Buckskin, Dun, Red Dun, and Grulla horse by encouraging breeding for conformation, ability, and color.

KBHA encourages good horsemanship, good sportsmanship, and strives to educate the public on the qualities of the buckskin association. Becoming a member of KBHA is not required to participate at shows. There are some wonderful perks that come with being a member of our club.

A KBHA membership enables you to earn points at each KBHA show that count toward year end high point titles and awards in each class and division. Membership also allows you to participate in the annual election of the Board of Directors. In addition to earning points at the local level, all ABRA points earned are entered into the national database to be calculated to compete with participants for ABRA annual titles and awards.

Youth members can choose to compete for the title of KBHA Youth Ambassador to represent the charter at different events in the region and go on to compete at the ABRA World Show for the national title of Youth Ambassador.
